Three days after the 2026 Mock UTME, JAMB has released the results. Every candidate who sat the examination on 28 March now has access to their scores which they can you use to predict how prepared they are for the main examination.
To check your result, send MOCKRESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number you registered with for the 2026 UTME. JAMB confirmed that 224,597 candidates registered for the mock and that 152,586 successfully sat the test across 989 CBT centres nationwide.
JAMB also issued a warning that should not be ignored. Every year, in the weeks between the mock and the main UTME, fraudsters flood WhatsApp with messages claiming they can boost your score for a fee. JAMB says, “Such claims are false and criminal. Any candidate found to have engaged in such activities will have their registration cancelled. Where such infractions are discovered after the examination, results may be withheld or withdrawn.” Paying someone to manipulate your score does not just waste money. It also ruins your chances completely.
The more productive response to your mock result is to treat it as a gap analysis. If your score in a particular subject is lower than you expected, you now have three weeks to study harder before the 16th of April. If your score is higher than expected, use that confidence to reinforce rather than relax. Candidates who use mock results strategically consistently perform better in the main sitting than those who either celebrate or despair.
The announcement also reminds candidates that the main UTME opens on 16 April 2026.
