Candidates usually check their JAMB Admission Status after the conclusion of the admission processes by tertiary institutions. This is usually after the release of examination results, such as the UTME scores, and the completion of post-UTME screenings.

How to Check JAMB 2024 Admission Status

To check JAMB Admission Status, candidates need to visit JAMB CAPS portal. Log in to your JAMB profile using your registration number and password.

Follow the steps below to check your admission status through CAPS dashboard:

Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login
Login with your email and password
Navigate to “Admission Status”
Choose exam year
Input your JAMB registration number
Click “Check Admission Status”

After completing the above steps, candidates will be shown their admission status.

If you see CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED PROVISIONAL ADMISSION, you can proceed to accept or reject the offer and print out your admission letter for future use.

If you see ADMISSION IN PROGRESS it means your admission process has not been concluded. Check back later for latest update.

If you see not NOT ADMITTED it means that you have not been considered for admission yet. it’s essential to explore alternative options. This could involve considering other institutions, courses, or exploring additional qualification avenues to enhance future admission chances.

However, you can apply for JAMB change of course or institution if you are not comfortable with your admission.

Upon accepting the admission offer, candidates can proceed to print their JAMB Admission Letter. This letter is an official document that confirms the candidate’s admission status and is often required during registration at the institution.

While the JAMB Admission Status provides a preliminary indication, candidates should also verify their admission status directly with the respective institutions. Institutions may have additional admission processes or requirements.
