JAMB 2024/2025 Change of Institution: Correction of Data

JAMB 2024 candidates can now change their choice of institution and also bio data correction on the JAMB E-facility portal. Follow the procedures on this page to learn how to make changes to your JAMB data.

Are you among the candidates who wishes to change their institution or did you make a mistake in your form while registering for the 2024 JAMB UTME? Do not panic, JAMB has made provision for correction of data.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Change of institution allows you to switch from your initially allocated university to a different university of your choice, provided both institutions offer your desired course and have available slots.

Interestingly, you can still perform this action even after writing the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Direct entry students can also apply for change of course form.

This option is available for candidates who:

• Made mistake in the registration form
• Decide to change institution base on personal reasons
• Didn’t score up to cut off mark

JAMB Change of Institution Commencement Date

At the moment, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is yet to announce the date for correction of data. We will update this page once the commencement date has been announced. Kindly check back.

Change of Institution Form Cost

It cost about two thousand five hundred naira only (N2500) to change your institution and correct your bio data. JAMB will request for this money once you are about to begin the process.

You can use your ATM card or any payment gateway you may like to pay for this service on JAMB CAPS.

JAMB 2024 Change of Institution Online Procedures

Visit any JAMB accredited centre nearest to you to start your data correction process. However, you can do this yourself by following the step by step guide below:

• Visit https://www.jamb.gov.ng/efacility
• Login with your email and password
• Navigate to “Registration”
• Select “UTME Data Correction” or “DE Data Correction”
• Make a payment of N2500 with your ATM card or select other available payment options
• Input your registration number to continue
• Now make changes to your bio data and confirm
• Submit application and wait for approval

We advise that you apply for your change of institution on time to increase your chances of securing admission at your chosen institution.

Keep copies of your JAMB registration slip, admission letter, current institution’s transcript, and any relevant documents for data correction safe for future reference.
