Is JAMB Mock Result 2026 Out?
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Mock UTME) result. Candidates who sat the examination on Saturday, March 28, 2026, can now check their result on the JAMB online result checking portal. The mock result does not affect the main UTME score or the admission process. It is purely for practice and preparation purposes.
JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, confirmed that 211,000 candidates sat the Mock UTME across 793 Computer Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide. A total of 227,896 candidates had registered for the exercise.
About JAMB Mock Examination 2026
JAMB Mock Examination serves as a precursor to the main UTME, offering candidates an opportunity to check their preparedness, familiarise themselves with the exam format, and also identify areas for improvement in order to excel in the forthcoming UTME.
It allows candidates to experience the exam environment, timing, and structure firsthand, helping alleviate test anxiety and boost confidence levels.
Step by Step Guide on How to Check JAMB Mock Examination Result 2026
There are two ways candidates can check their mock result, these include: SMS and the online method. We have explained in detail below how you can check your UTME mock result using any method that is best for you.
1. SMS Method
This method is perfect for those comfortable using text messages. Ensure your phone has a minimum credit balance of N50.
- Open your messaging app
- Compose a new message
- Write “MOCKRESULT” and send to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number you registered with for the 2026 UTME
After sending the text across, kindly wait for a response from JAMB. Note that this may take some minutes.
2. Online Method
This method needs a smartphone or a laptop computer and an active internet connection.
- Visit https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEMockResults or log in directly via the JAMB eFacility Portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
- Enter your email address and password to log in. If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password option to reset it
- Input your JAMB registration number in the appropriate field
- Click “Check Mock Results”
- Your JAMB Mock result will be displayed, showing your scores in each subject you took
- You can download, screenshot or print out your result for reference purposes
For candidates who cannot complete the process, you can visit any JAMB CBT centre nearest to you to check and print out your result.

- Review your scores in each subject to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Use your results to tailor your study plan, focusing on subjects requiring more attention.
- Practise with the JAMB CBT software to improve speed and accuracy under exam conditions.
