JAMB 2026/2027 Cut Off Mark for Private Law

Private Law is one of the foundational branches of legal education in Nigeria, often taught alongside or within the broader Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) programs. If you are aspiring to specialize in this field, gaining admission to study Private Law will require that you meet the required JAMB cut-off mark set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board and that of the institution you are seeking admission into. The cut off has been provided here.

General JAMB Cut-Off Mark for Private Law 2026

To study Private Law, just as we detailed earlier, one needs to meet the JAMB and individual university cut-off mark. The JAMB cut-off mark is 140, and the university cut off mark differs depending on the university you are seeking admission into.

Candidates aiming for top federal or state universities should ideally target 240 or higher for a strong chance of admission.
