Candidates registering for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry programmes can now buy their ePINs through several secure channels offered by Interswitch, a leading digital payments company in Africa.
The ePIN purchase remains a fundamental first step in the JAMB registration process, and Interswitch has positioned its platforms to handle the high volume of transactions expected during the registration window.
Candidates can access the service through the Quickteller mobile app and web platform, as well as the Interswitch Payment Gateway integrated into the official JAMB website. To complete a purchase, candidates must visit the JAMB eFacility portal, verify their profile code, and select Interswitch as their preferred payment method.
Olawale Akanbi, Divisional Head of Growth Marketing for Merchants and Ecosystem at Interswitch, emphasised the company’s dedication to supporting Nigerian students through the registration process.
“At Interswitch, we understand how critical the UTME registration process is for millions of Nigerian students and their families. By providing secure, trusted, and widely accessible payment channels for JAMB ePIN purchases, we are helping candidates complete their registration with confidence and focus on preparing for their examinations,” Akanbi stated.
He further noted that Interswitch’s platforms are built to accommodate high transaction volumes without compromising security, especially during periods of intense registration activity.
The payment channels offer candidates nationwide access, secure transactions, and flexible options to suit different locations and preferences. JAMB accredited registration centres have also been encouraged to direct candidates to Interswitch powered payment options to ensure a smooth purchase experience.
Candidates and their sponsors are advised to complete ePIN purchases early through the Interswitch Payment Gateway, Quickteller, or accredited agents nationwide to avoid complications as the registration deadline of 26th February 2026 approaches.
The initiative reinforces Interswitch’s standing as a dependable partner in Nigeria’s education sector, using technology to connect students with essential services efficiently and securely.
