Two prominent student bodies in Ondo North Senatorial District have expressed appreciation to Senator Jide Ipinsagba for funding Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board registration slots for students in the district.
The National Association of Akoko South East Students and the National Association of Akoko North East Students issued separate commendations, highlighting how the initiative has reduced financial pressure on families and expanded educational access.
In their appreciation message, NAANES National Executives described the intervention as timely relief for numerous households struggling with examination costs. The group noted that the gesture had created academic pathways for many beneficiaries who might otherwise have been unable to register for the 2026 UTME.
The association stated that the support had reinforced confidence in leadership committed to prioritising education and youth advancement within the senatorial district.
NASSES emphasised that the free registration slots had eased economic burdens on parents and students, fostering equal opportunities for candidates seeking admission to tertiary education.
The association added that the support would positively impact beneficiaries’ academic futures and inspire renewed hope among youths in the senatorial district, noting that the intervention reflects the lawmaker’s commitment to human capital development in Ondo North.
Both organisations praised Senator Ipinsagba for what they characterised as an investment in the future of young people in the district.
The student groups offered prayers for the senator’s continued wisdom, strength, and success in serving his constituents and humanity at large.
Leaders of both NASSES and NAANES National Bodies signed the appreciation letters, acknowledging the significance of the gesture in promoting educational advancement across the Ondo North Senatorial District.
The initiative comes as thousands of students across Nigeria prepare for the 2026 UTME, with registration ongoing until 26th February 2026. Many families face financial constraints in meeting examination costs, making such interventions particularly valuable for underprivileged students seeking opportunities in higher education.
The senator’s support joins similar efforts by other public officials and private individuals across various states who have sponsored JAMB registrations for indigent students during the current examination cycle.
