O’Level Requirements for UTME Candidates 2025
UTME candidates are generally to possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and other two Social Science subjects. Some of the special considerations are as follows;
- NDU requires five (5) ‘O’Level credit passes in English Language, Economics, and three (3) other subjects for Office Management Technology
- CUAB requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two (2) of the following: Commerce, Geography and Statistics.
- UNIOSUN requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Economics are compulsory with ‘O’ Level credit passes in at least two (2) other subjects from Geography, Government, Accounts and Book-Keeping at one sitting.
- FUNAAB requires two (2) ‘O’ Level credit passes from any of Principles of Account, Commerce, Government or Geography
- AUE requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) from Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government, Accounts and Book-Keeping at not more than two (2) sittings
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates 2025
If you are seeking for admission as a direct entry student, it is generally required for you to possess two (2) ‘A’ Level
passes including Economics.
The special considerations (waiver’s) remark are of the following;
- AAU accepts;
- BSc, BA or HND in other programme; ND upper credit in Accounting; Foundation of ICAN
- ILORIN – For Accounting accepts at least three (3) ‘A’ level passes (not less than grade ’C’ (12 Points) including Accounting and at least one of Mathematics, Business Management, Economics, Statistics, Geography and Government.
- UNILORIN Diploma in Accounting and Data Processing with Upper Credit pass;
- HND with minimum of Lower Credit pass;
- ND in Accountancy with Upper Credit or ND with Lower Credit with ICAN (ATS). ICAN (ACA);
- For Business Administration accepts ND upper credit in Business Studies/Business Management.
