JAMB UTME Subject Combination for Education 2025

Candidates aspiring to study any course under the faculty of Education, you are required to pick from any three (3) of Literature In English, History, French, Geography/Physics, Economics or Mathematics, and the compulsory English Language.

Special consideration includes FED-KASHERE requiring any three of Literature in English, History, French, Geography, Physics, Economics and Mathematics, FED-OYE EKITI; Economics, Mathematics and one other Social Science/Arts subject, and a lot of others.

O’Level Requirements for Education UTME Candidates 2025

Five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics and Economics. Five (5) TC II merit including English Language and Mathematics are required as a UTME candidate.

FED-OYE EKITI requires five (5) SSC credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics, and EKSU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at one (1) sitting as their special considerations.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates 2025

As a direct entry candidate, you are to possess two (2)’A’ Level passes from Literature in English, History, Christian Religious Studies/Islamic Studies, Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo with ‘O’ Level pass in Mathematics. NCE merit in the subjects listed above.

Special Considerations: EKSU requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics and Economics. In addition, EKSU accepts NCE credit/merit in relevant subjects, and PHC does not have Direct Entry (DE).
