2026 UTME candidates can now print their original result slips; the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has confirmed that the document is described as a mandatory requirement for post UTME screening and admission consideration at tertiary institutions.

The board’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, stated that the original result slip carries the candidate’s photograph, national ranking and additional security features that institutions will rely on during the admissions process.

Candidates have been advised to verify all details on the slip immediately after printing and to keep a copy safe for future admission related purposes, as the document will be required at various stages of the post UTME process.

Printing is accessible from any internet enabled device, whether at home, in the office or at accredited business centres, removing the need for candidates to visit any specific location to obtain their slips. The release of the original result slip comes on Wednesday, 17th June, 2026, following the conclusion of the mop up examination held on Saturday, 13th June, 2026, and the subsequent release of mop up results. Candidate ranking is currently underway, and the availability of the slip places candidates closer to the final stages of the 2026 admissions cycle.

JAMB has continued to urge candidates to rely exclusively on official board channels for all result and admission related activities, cautioning against engagement with unauthorised platforms or third parties who may seek to exploit the admissions process.
