JAMB UTME Subject Combination for Law
As a UTME candidate, you are required to select the following subjects; Use of English (compulsory), and other three Arts or Social Science courses depending on the university you are applying admission into.

Also note that UNILAG does not accept Music, Fine Arts, and Principles of Account but accepts either Economics or Commerce but not both, and on the other hand DELSU and ABU require Literature in English and any other Arts or Social Science subjects.
O’Level Requirements for Law UTME Candidates
To apply for Law as a UTME candidate, a minimum possession of five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Literature in English, and others depending on the institution involved is required from you.

Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates 2025
Direct Entry (DE) applicants are to possess the following requirements
- Two ‘A’ level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects
- NCE/ND/First Degree (Second Class Lower)
You are also to note that AAU do not accept NCE while UNIMAID requires two ‘A’ levels from Government, Literature in English and Religious Studies; RSUST and OAU accepts First Degree with a minimum of 2nd Class Honour’s plus UTME requirements, but does not accept NCE/ND/HND; ANSU do not require English Literature for degree holders.
