JAMB UTME Subject Combination for Medical, Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences
As a UTME candidate seeking to study any course under the Faculty of Medical, Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences, your subject combinations must be Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and a compulsory Use of English (English Language).
Also have it at the back of your mind that ABUAD accepts Physics, Chemistry and Biology OR Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, BSU, UNIZIK, EBSU, CALABAR and PHC requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and BABCOCK accepts any three (3) of Physics, Chemistry Biology and Mathematics.

O’Level Requirements for Medical, Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences UTME Candidates
For admission success, candidates must possess five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics. Note that the O’level requirements is solely based on the institution involved and the course you intend studying.
There are also exceptions such as DELSU requiring SSC ‘O’ Level or its equivalent with credit passes in at least five (5) subject which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings.
Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates 2025
Direct entry candidates are to be in possession of two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Special considerations: LAUTECH accepts ‘A’ Level or its equivalent with good passes in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. ND with upper credit in related programme plus the UTME requirements may be considered for admission into 200 level.
